Thinking of Visiting Us?
That Would Be Awesome!
8:15am: Sunday School Classes ("Breakfast for Your Soul")
10:00am: Sunday Worship Service
WHAT TO EXPECT
Thinking about visiting The Ray for the first time? We are passionate about creating an environment where you can learn about hope, love, faith, forgiveness, joy, justice, and the Kingdom of God in a manner that is easy to understand.
Worship at The Ray is not just what happens on Sunday morning. Worship is a praise time each time we come together, whether it’s for bible study, social hour after service, or just celebrating each other’s blessings.
We are committed to keeping our services on Sunday to less than 2 hours (1 1/2 hours would be ideal), and they typically contain lively music, moving worship, intentional prayer, charitable giving, followed by a relevant, engaging message.
WHAT TO WEAR
If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are you will likely find plenty of others who will be dressed much like you no matter when you visit. Sure, Sunday mornings are a time when many prefer to dress up a bit, but even if jeans are more your style, you’ll be right at home with us.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At The Ray we believe that the worship service is for the whole family. Bring the children to the sanctuary with you. We love the sound of babies giggling and talking back to the preacher. We believe that when parents know that their children are in a loving and safe environment they can relax, allowing parents to focus on worship and the Word.
You may be happy to know, however, that we are in the process of relaunching our youth and children's ministry which we expect to be up and fully running by summer 2017. At that time youth and children will have their own separate Sunday morning worship and Christian education experiences. In the meantime, youth and children are a vital part of worship and welcomed in everything that goes on at The Ray.
WE WANT TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH YOU
Help us keep a record of your visit. How do you do that? Visitors are handed a 'Visitors Card' when they arrive which they are to complete and place in the "Visitors" box located on the countertop of our Welcome Center in the lobby.
